When it comes to Obama, the Obama Regime or Obama Care, the only phrase containing the word snow you really need to keep in mind is Snow Job.

Many have bought into the Obama Snow Job that Bush and Cheney were ruthless, evil heavy-handed thugs. Some of the snowed even worried about waterboarding a few terrorists, while other members of the snowed community paced the floors all night long worrying that a few illegal aliens might get deported.

Well, just look at some of the things the Obama- Biden regime and their gang of neo-progressive- liberals have in store for American citizens

under Obama Care.

If any American citizen does not voluntarily sign up for Obama Care, the Nobel Peace Prize winner plans to give them an iron-fist to the face. Obama has pledged to take the money of any American citizen who does not comply to his health care mandate. And he will use the IRS to make sure citizens pay up. . . . What if you don’t want to take risky and dangerous drugs to lower cholesterol? What if you don’t want to undergo uncomfortable, risky or dangerous medical procedures? What about American citizens with STDs? Will lifestyle adjustments be mandated for them, too? Snow Job: an intensive effort at persuasion or deception. Perfect.

Outrages & Insights: James Heaney blogged about the Erie County Industrial Development Agency’s boast on job creation and how much is real or imagined. Hapklein replied:

Actually aren’t the IDAs, alone, a major economic sector? They sort of operate as another sub-sector of government somewhere below the control boards and above municipal governments. Certainly their decisions have more to do with the location of work and workers. I have yet to see any statistics that justify the subsidies they lavish on job creation.

Last year I read of a company in Niagara County that was getting over a million dollars for every job created. The difference between a million dollar subsidy and a $100K job is profit for a private entity and $900K local government will never get to improve infrastructure.

Inside Pitch: Mike Harrington’s baseball blog reflecting Tuesday morning’s Daily News question to Yankees manager Joe Girardi as to why he yanked pitcher David Robertson for Alfredo Aceves brought this response from george:

Girardi reminds me of a football coach with his over-reliance on binders and matchups, his tin ear for the “feel” of a situation and his inability to let the game come to him.

He had several of these moments during the regular season (too many), but was frequently bailed out as he had been in October. Until yesterday.

I’d love to know what other skippers think of his game management.

Talkin’ TV: Alan Pergament’s blog about the firing of Dr. Izzie Stevens on an episode of “Grey’s Anatomy,” and on actress Katherine Heigl’s five-episode hiatus, brought this response from Penny:

I thought Katherine Heigl did an amazing job — especially in the scene where Izzie was fired. She will be really badly missed. Show will not be the same without her.

Melanie added: The new characters can’t vanish off my TV fast

enough. Seriously. I’ll probably tune out until Jan or Feb, whenever Izzie returns. I have no interest in watching the newbies, and if last night was any indication, they’ll be getting way too much screen time, especially with Meredith on bedrest and Izzie gone. The show is “Grey’s Anatomy,” not “Mercy West.”
