Edward H. Culliton III, president of consulting group

Edward H. Culliton III of East Aurora, president of Culliton Consulting Group, died Friday in the Center for Hospice& Palliative Care, Cheektowaga. He was 74.
Born in Buffalo, Mr. Culliton earned a bachelor’s degree in history from Canisius College. He worked in sales for Procter &Gamble from 1958 to 1959 and Pillsbury from 1960 to 1963. He worked in information technology at Millard Fillmore Hospital from 1963 to 1964.
In 1969, he joined Acme Electric Corp. and was vice president and director of information services when he retired from the company in 1999. For the past 10 years, he ran his own consulting company in East Aurora.
Mr. Culliton was a major in the Army Reserve from 1956 to 1970. He also was a 3rd-degree member of the Knights of Columbus.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, the former Mary Lou Kirschgraber; a daughter, Ellyn
K. Miller; four sons, Thomas J., Michael E., Brian P. and Timothy A.; and four brothers, Alfred D., David A., Christopher R. and Phillip E.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 9:30 a. m. Wednesday in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 520 Oakwood Ave., East Aurora.
