Pointing to a fund balance of $1.3 million, Marilla Town Board member Barbara Spanitz defended pay raises to town employees during a work session of the board on Oct. 13. The size of the fund balance was incorrect in a recent report of the meeting.

Dara Horn, author of “All Other Nights: A Novel,” will appear at 2:30 p. m. Sunday in the Temple Beth Zion Broder Building, 700 Sweet Home Road, Amherst, as part of the Jewish Community Book Fair. The location was incorrect in Friday’s Gusto.
