Arrests at Ralph Wilson Stadium started early and continued through the ride home
There was some activity out on the field at Ralph Wilson Stadium early Sunday morning, but it didn’t involve any Buffalo Bills or Oakland Raiders players getting ready for the game.
Three Ontario men were arrested on criminal trespassing charges at about 5 a. m. inside the stadium.
Police said the men were just looking to take some pictures.
“Apparently they jumped the fence and went out on the field,” said Orchard Park Police Chief Andrew Benz.
The three men— Robert M. Giff, 44, and Joshua R. Giff, 25, both of Athens, Ont., and Stephen G. Gillett, 24, of Orleans, Ont. — are among more than 50 people facing charges for alleged activities inside of or while heading home from the stadium.
