Lakeridge neighborhood wins July Fourth honors
Orchard Park’s Lakeridge neighborhood won the “Harvard Cup” for best neighborhood in the Orchard Park Fourth of July parade.
An American flag was presented by the Orchard Park Chamber of Commerce to the Western New York Breast Resource Center at Roswell Park Cancer Institute for best organization, and Stevens Remodeling was named best business.
“B Is for Books” won the first place prize for floats, and $150 will be donated to the Friends of the Orchard Park Library. Winwood Acres won the $100 second prize, which will be given to Orchard Park Cooperative Preschool. Total Landscape Services was third, and its $50 prize will be awarded to the Boys& Girls Club of Orchard Park.
