East Aurora fest will offer blend of history, wildlife

Birds of prey and medieval pageantry will be on display at Hawk Creek Wildlife Center’s annual Wildlife and Renaissance Festival, starting later this month in East Aurora.
Scheduled for the weekends of July 25 and Aug. 1, the event will feature period- dressed handlers showcasing the park’s collection of birds and mammals, including a bald eagle.
There will also be jousting, a dragon exhibit and a presentation from TV host and zoologist Jarod Miller.
Tickets cost $7 for children under 12 and $14 for adults. Family rates are available and discount tickets can be purchased at www.hawkcreek.com .
