Nominations are sought for Ultimate Fairgoer
It’s time for nominations for the Ultimate Fairgoer—a person who can’t get enough of the Erie County Fair.
Entries must be submitted by July 31 to the Erie County Fair Ultimate Fairgoer, 5600 McKinley Parkway, Hamburg, NY 14075, or by e-mail to marketing@americas-fair.org . Entries must include a short description of the nominee and his or her dedication to the Erie County Fair, how the person demonstrates loyalty to the fair, and best promotes it to family and friends. Photos, clippings, references and other evidence for the judges are welcome. The 2009 Ultimate Fairgoer will win two passes for the 2009 New York State Fair and any county or youth fair in the state, a copy of the book “Reflections of America’s County Fair,” 12 Strates ride books, a $50 gift certificate to the Erie County Fair gift shop and the chance to ride in the Summer Love Daily Parade.
