High school principal placed on administrative leave

Story tools:

Lake Shore High School Principal R. Terrence Redman has been placed on administrative leave.

Christopher Walsh, assistant principal at Lake Shore Middle School, and Daryl Besant, assistant principal at the high school and athletic director, have taken over the principal’s duties.

Lake Shore Superintendent Jeffrey R. Rabey declined to elaborate on why Redman has been placed on paid leave, saying only that it’s a personnel issue. Redman, who has been principal at the high school since 1999, was placed on leave on Tuesday.
