Niagara Construction is Town Hall low bidder
Niagara Construction is the apparent low bidder for a new air conditioning system in Marilla Town Hall.
The Town Board on Tuesday night entertained six bids for the project, ranging from the low of $39,930 from Niagara Construction to a high of $57,700 from the John Danforth Co. The town replaced Town Hall windows last year and can no longer use the old window air conditioning units.
Officials also announced there are four applicants for the town’s farmland preservation program: Richard and Dale Foss of Williston Road; John Fronczek of Four Rod Road; Earl Gingerich Jr. of Three Rod and Liberia roads; and Jeffrey Spanitz of Liberia Road. The board has recommended the Foss and Gingerich properties.
The town also approved hiring Municipal Solutions as bond counsel for Water District 5 for $16,000.
