Two teens accused of burglary in Boston
Two area teenagers were arrested Thursday for their alleged involvement in the Monday burglary of a Town of Boston home, State Police investigators reported.
Joseph Conrad Jr., 19, of South Park Avenue, Lackawanna, and Elysia Rousseau, 19, of East Eden Road, Hamburg, were arraigned and released on their own recognizance in Hamburg Town Court.
Police said Conrad and Rousseau allegedly burglarized a home on Rollin Drive in Boston during the day Monday. The two were said to be traveling in a 2005 Mazda 3 that was seen fleeing the scene, police said. Police recovered the property stolen from the home.
Conrad also was charged with grand larceny in connection with an unrelated investigation in the Town of Hamburg, authorities said.
State Police said the arrests of Conrad and Rousseau are unrelated to a Southtowns burglary ring. Earlier this week, three Orchard Park residents were accused in a rash of residential burglaries.
