Williams hosts meetings about proposed state aid cuts

Story tools:

Buffalo Public Schools Superintendent James A. Williams will host public meetings Tuesday and Thursday evening to discuss the “drastic” impact proposed state aid cuts could have on the district’s instructional program.

The meetings will be held at 7 p. m. Tuesday in Southside Elementary School, 430 Southside Parkway, and at 7 p. m. Thursday in Bennett High School, 2885 Main St.

The school system currently projects a $52 million budget gap for the coming school year, threatening deep cuts in staff and classroom programs.
