HEALTH FAIR: Oracle Charter School is hosting a free health fair for students, their families and the community from 2 to 6 p. m. today in the school, 888 Delaware Ave. The fair will include free preventive screenings for glucose, dental, blood pressure and STDs; a flu shot clinic; representatives from Roswell Park Cancer Institute to discuss smoking cessation and cancer awareness; and a question- and-answer session about swine flu with Dr. Tom Schenk. VETERANS OPPORTUNITY FAIR: The Erie County Veterans Service Agency is hosting a Veterans Opportunity Fair from 10 a. m. to 2 p. m. Thursday in the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center, 153 Franklin St. The event will include more than 40 exhibitors and eight seminars. Vets will be able to meet with members of the educational, commerce, government and not-for-profit community. A free continental breakfast will be served.
