BATAVIA ROTARY CLUB

‘Cinderella’ musical will open Thursday

Story tools:

BATAVIA—The Batavia Rotary Club’s 61st annual stage production, Rodgers and Hammerstein’s TV musical, “Cinderella,” will open Thursday in Batavia High School auditorium.

Performances also will be held at 7:30 p. m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p. m. Sunday. Rotary shows usually attract sell-out audiences.

Patrick D. Burk is making his debut as director. In starring roles are his wife, E. Jane Burk; daughter, Caryn Leigh Burk; and son-in-law, Alex Balbi. It marks a first in the show’s history for family involvement.

Proceeds support the service club’s numerous projects that benefit the community.
