The Joint Schools Construction Board will meet at 3 p. m. Monday in Room 801 of City Hall. Also this week:
• A proposal to install cameras at 50 of the city’s busiest intersections to catch red-light runners will be discussed at 9 a. m. Friday. The Common Council’s Police Oversight Committee will hold the meeting in Council Chambers on the 13th floor of City Hall.
•The Charter School for Applied Technologies board of trustees will meet at 4:30 p. m. Tuesday, at 319 Vulcan St.
•The Planning Board will meet at 8:15 a. m. Wednesday in Room 901 of City Hall.
•The Council’s Finance Committee will meet at 10 a. m. Wednesday in Council Chambers on the 13th floor of City Hall.

The Village Board will hold a work session at 5:30 p. m. Monday followed by a regular meeting at 7 p. m in Village Hall, 100 Main St. Also this week:
• The Town Board will conduct a meeting at 6:30 p. m. Monday, followed by a hearing on the proposed 2010 budget at 7 p. m. in Town Hall, 6100 South Park Ave.
• The Town Planning Board will meet at 7:30 p. m. Wednesday in Room 7B in the basement of Town Hall.
• The town Zoning Board of Appeals will meet at 7 p. m. Thursday in Room 7B in the basement of Town Hall.
• The village Zoning Board of Appeals will meet at 7 p. m. Thursday in Village Hall.

• The Akron School Board will meet at 7 p. m. Wednesday in the board conference room at the school complex on Bloomingdale Avenue. The board is meeting on the first and third Wednesdays this month.
Orchard Park
The Village Planning Board will conduct a work session at 6:30 p. m. Tuesday, followed by a meeting at 7:30 p. m. Tuesday in the Municipal Center, 4295 S. Buffalo St. Also this week:
• The School Board will meet at 7 p. m. Tuesday in the administration building, 3330 Baker Road. The board will conduct an executive session at 6 p. m.

Town of Tonawanda
The Kenmore-Town of Tonawanda School Board will meet at 7 p. m. Tuesday in the community room at the Philip Sheridan Building, 3200 Elmwood Ave. Also this week:
• A public hearing on the Town of Tonawanda’s preliminary budget is scheduled for 7:30 p. m. Thursday in Council Chambers at the Municipal Building, 2919 Delaware Ave., Kenmore.
