CHERRY CREEK

State Horse Council to hold members’ luncheon

Story tools:

CHERRYCREEK— State Sen. M. Catharine Young, R-Olean, and Tom Seay, host of the RFD-TV show “Best of America by Horseback,” will address the New York State Horse Council on Saturday during the organization’s annual members’ luncheon at Cherry Creek Inn.

Seay will discuss his border-to-border horseback ride and later Saturday he will film the Cattaraugus/Chautauqua Chapter’s Adopt-A-Resource project in the Pine Hill/South Valley State Lands south of Randolph. The project involves 26 miles of multiple-use trails and a camping area, funded by a $33,000 grant from the Council.

The organization invites the public to attend the weekend-long event that begins Friday with a cowboy gathering. To reserve a spot, call 532-3357 or e-maillleising@netsync.net .
