North Tonawanda man, girl hurt in ATV crash
CHERRY CREEK—A North Tonawanda man and an 11-year-old girl were injured when an all-terrain vehicle hit a guardrail on Dredge Ditch Road here shortly before midnight Saturday, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office reported.
Shaun G. Laughlin, 27, of Lexington Avenue, suffered a severe leg cut and was taken to Lake Shore Hospital, Irving. The girl, who possibly suffered a broken leg, was airlifted to Women& Children’s Hospital, Buffalo.
Laughlin was operating the four-wheel ATV and the girl was on the back of it, deputies said, and both were ejected. Charges are pending, according to deputies.
