Nature center solicits film festival entries
PORTVILLE—The Pfeiffer Nature Center invites entries by July 30 on the theme of “Naturescapes” in its 2009 Film Festival.
Locally created works from 30 seconds to five minutes in length can be submitted in film, PowerPoint, photo montage, animation or any format portraying the artist’s vision of the theme. Organizers will accept automated PowerPoint presentations for the first time this year.
All age groups are eligible to enter this free contest and all genres are welcome, including documentary, narrative, experimental, comedy, animation, music video. Films will be selected by a panel of judges for inclusion in the film festival, where winners will be announced.
