$633,500 loan granted to senior housing complex
BEMUS POINT—A senior citizen apartment building in Chautauqua County will get $633,500 through a long-term loan from a regional nonprofit mortgage group.
The Bemus Point complex, Sunnyside Manor Apartments, has been in operation since 1981 and houses 19 one-bedroom units. It also receives federal assistance for low-income housing. The property’s owners plan to use the funds from the Community Preservation Corporation to pay down Sunnyside’s mortgage, according to an agency statement.
