SENIOR EVENT: The WCA Hospital Occupational Therapy and Wellness team and the SALT and TRIAD coalitions will host a CarFit event, an educational program that offers senior drivers the opportunity to check how well their personal vehicles fit them from 9 a. m. to 1 p. m. LEADERSHIP CAMP: The YWCA will hold its second annual Girls Leadership Camp from June 29 to Aug. 28 for girls in sixth through eighth grades. The program will explore self-worth, social advocacy and community service. Campers will create their own eco-friendly water bottles, build and use solar-powered ovens, design recycling robots, create and eat edible landfills, participate in garden projects and explore spots like the Lockport Caves. MEET THE DOCS: The Roswell Park Cancer Institute Amherst Center will hold an open house from 5 p. m. to 7 p. m. Tuesday at 100 College Parkway, Amherst.
