ST. JOE’S CHARITABLE EFFORT: St. Joseph’s Collegiate Institute will combine its annual Battle of the Bands with its fundraiser St. Joe Rocks to raise awareness and funds for Darfur, from 7 p. m. to 11 p. m. Saturday, in the school gym, 845 Kenmore Ave., Town of Tonawanda. Tickets are $5. For details, call 874-4024.

TREASURE AND TRASH SALE: The Colden United Methodist Church will host a Treasure&Trash Sale and Antique Appraisal Day from 8 a. m. to 2 p. m. Saturday in the church, 8795 Lower East Hill Road, Colden. Baked goods will be available for purchase. Appraisals will take place from 10 a. m. to 1 p. m. with a $5 charge per item.

RUMMAGE SALE: Holy Mother of the Rosary Cathedral will hold a rummage sale from 9 a. m. to noon Saturday at 6298 Broadway, Lancaster. Cost is 50 cents and refreshments are available. For details, call 681-7450.
