DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES: Kathie Snow, a well-known disability advocate, author, public speaker and trainer on disability issues, will be the keynote speaker for the Developmental Disabilities Awareness Day Conference from 8 a. m. to 4 p. m. today in the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center. The event will feature speakers, workshops and live entertainment.
ECUMENICAL MEETING: The South Buffalo Ecumenical Association will meet at 7 p. m. today in Salem Lutheran Church, 10 McClellan Circle. Guest speakers Brenda Plowden and Diane Semrau will discuss universal primary education, followed by refreshments and fellowship. For details, call 824-4112.
EPIC OUTREACH: EPIC will hold an informational event from 12:30 to 2 p. m. Friday in the Town of Aurora Senior Center, 101 King St., East Aurora, for those 65 and older and their caregivers to learn how EPIC can lower prescription drug costs if they have Medicare PartDand annual incomes under $35,000 (single) or $50,000 (married). MEMORIAL DAY SERVICE: State Sen. Antoine Thompson, D-Buffalo, will host his third annual Memorial Day Ceremony and Recognition Reception from noon to 1:30 p. m. Friday in the Mahoney State Office Building, 65 Court St.

EXPLORE THE GORGE: Visit Niagara Falls State Park from 10 a. m. to 5:30 p. m. Saturday and Sunday and talk to a park naturalist about the Niagara Gorge Trail system and the history of the falls and the gorge. For details, call 282-5154.
