SCHOOL SIGN-UP: Bethany Christian Preschool, 177 Cornwall Ave., Town of Tonawanda, is currently registering children ages 3 and 4 for preschool. To register and for further information, call 631-3959.

HISTORY ADDRESS: Dr. Jospeh Puleo will address the Elma Historical Society at 7 p. m. today in the Senior Center at 3007 Bowen Road. An election of officers also will be held.

GRAVE CONCERNS: The members of the Union Cemetery Association of Spring Brook will meet 7 p. m. Wednesday in Elma Senior Citizens Center, Bowen Road. Care and maintenance of the cemetery on Rice Road will be discussed. The association is open to all grave owners and family members.

SATELLITE OFFICE HOURS: A member of the staff of Rep. Chris Lee, R-Clarence, will be available to meet with Wyoming County residents from 3:30 to 5 p. m. Wednesday in the Government Center, Room 202, 143 N. Main St., Warsaw. No appointment is necessary.

SAFETY SEMINAR: The North Tonawanda Library, 505 Meadow Drive, offers a free safety seminar for women at 7 p. m. Wednesdayin the Meeting Room. Nina Witkowski, a certified safety instructor from Yi- Dan Cha Gi Martial Arts Center, will cover personal safety awareness, statistics and basic self-defense. Registration is not required, but seating is limited. Refreshments will be served by the Friends of the Library, who are sponsoring this special program. For information, call 693-3009.

OPEN HOUSE: The Southtowns Family YMCA will hold an open house for its Preschool program from 6:30 to 7:30 p. m. Wednesday at S-3636 Eggert Road, Orchard Park. Parents can talk to staff regarding their child care needs. Classes are offered two days a week for 3-and 4- year-olds and three days a week for 4- and 5-year-olds. For details, call 674-9622.

SPRING CONCERT: Pupils in prekindergarten through eighth grade at St. Margaret’s School will present their spring concert, “Making Memories,” at 6:30 p. m. Wednesday in the North Park Theater, 1428 Hertel Ave. Tickets can be purchased for $4 at the school, 1395 Hertel.

AWARDS DINNER: Vive, a nonprofit organization that assists refugees, will hold its 25th Anniversary Recognition Dinner from 5:30 to 9 p. m. Thursday in Shanghai Red’s, 2 Templeton Terrace. This year’s honorees include the Episcopal Diocese of Western New York, Sister Mary Louise Lopez and County Legislature Majority Leader Maria Whyte.
