KEN-TON COMMUNITY MEETING:Kenmore-Town of Tonawanda School Superintendent Mark P. Mondanaro will host a community meeting from 7 to 8:30 p. m. today in Holmes Elementary School, 365 Dupont Ave., Town of Tonawanda. Mondanaro has embarked on a series of community meetings to communicate with district residents. A question-and-answer session will be included.

TEN LIVES CLUB FUNDRAISER:The Ten Lives Club cat rescue and adoption organization will hold a “Beer for Cats” fundraiser from 5 to 8:30 p. m. Friday in Mr. Goodbar, 1110 Elmwood Ave. There will be drink specials, raffles, theme baskets, a silent auction and crafts for sale. Proceeds will help the group maintain its cat shelter in Concord. WILDFLOWER WALK:A Wilson Tuscarora State Park guide will lead a walk through the woods from 6:30 to 8:30 p. m. Friday at 3371 Lake Road, Wilson. Gaze at wildflowers as you stroll through the woods and watch the sunset on Lake Ontario. For details or to register, call 282-5154.

ART SHOW:The Arcade Campus of Genesee Community College will present a student art show featuring the work of its 3D design class members at 6 p. m. and a metal pour at 7:30 p. m. Friday at 25 Edward St., Arcade. The event is free. Contact David Sink at (585) 492-5265 for details.

LITTLE RED SCHOOL-HOUSE TOURS: The Lancaster Historical Society will begin classes and tours of the historic 1868 Little Red Schoolhouse, Bowen Road and William Street, on Friday. Call 683-4679 for reservations and information.
