BUFFALO ZOO BENEFIT: Polar Bites, the winter fundraiser that benefits the Buffalo Zoo, will be held from 6 to 9 p. m. Thursday at the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center, 153 Franklin St. Highlights include basket auctions, visits from the zoo’s animal ambassadors and culinary specialties, beer, wine and coffee from 40 area establishments.
