PAL AUCTION: Former Buffalo Bills running back Thurman Thomas and former Sabres Rene Robert and Rick Martin will serve as honorary cochairmen of the annual Police Athletic League auction fundraiser from 5:30 to 8:30 p. m. today in Salvatore’s Italian Gardens, 6461 Transit Road, Lancaster. VETERANS THANKSGIVING DINNER: The Department of Veterans Affairs will serve Thanksgiving dinner to the homeless and other needy veterans and their families from 11 a. m. to 1 p. m. Sunday at 3495 Bailey Ave. Entertainment by children of the staff and a magic show will highlight the festivities. Veterans benefits information will be available. Admission is by ticket only. JCC INFORMATION SESSION: “Explore JCC!,” an event providing high school seniors and their families an opportunity to learn more about Jamestown Community College’s programs and services and to obtain financial aid information, will be held between 1:30 and 3:30 Sunday in the Hamilton Collegiate Center on the Jamestown campus.
