Medina woman charged with DWI in fender bender
BATAVIA — A Medina woman was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance Sunday afternoon, after she backed into a parked car in the Kmart parking lot in Batavia.
Dawn M. Davis, 46, struck another car in the parking lot on Lewiston Road at about 2:20 p. m., Genesee County sheriff’s deputies said. When deputies investigated, they found she had several pills in her pocket, they said.
She was also charged with driving while intoxicated and backing up unsafely. She is scheduled to appear in Batavia Town Court on Oct. 30.
