COLUMBUS CELEBRATION: The Federation of Italian-American Societies of Western New York will conduct its 101st annual Columbus Day Dinner on Sunday in Salvatore’s Italian Gardens, Lancaster. BENEFIT FOR TRANSPLANT RECIPIENT: A benefit will be held for David Pachucinski, a third-time transplant recipient, from noon to 6 p. m. Sunday at Post 409, American Legion, 100 Legion Drive, Gowanda. ROAD RALLY: The 44th annual Discover America Road Rally will be held Sunday. Open to all vehicles, the rally will take competitors from Hamburg to Arcade to Holland while traveling roads in Erie, Cattaraugus, Wyoming and Allegany counties. The start is at the Holiday Inn on Camp Road in Hamburg, where registration opens at 9:30 a. m., with the first car starting at noon. The finish is at the Holland Willows Restaurant in Holland.
