Forestville man accused of sex abuse
FORESTVILLE — A 63-year-old Forestville man has been arrested after being accused of sexually abusing a 5-year-old girl in October 2005.
Charles L. Marvin was arrested without incident after Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies staked out his Forestville home and the surrounding area on Thursday.
He was arrested on a warrant charging him with criminal sexual abuse and first-degree sexual abuse, based on a grand jury indictment, police said.
Sheriff’s officials said Marvin had been released from the Chautauqua County Jail on Wednesday, after he posted bail on a previous indictment charge.
