Warsaw mother accused of leaving baby in car
WARSAW — A Warsaw woman was arrested Monday for leaving her 9- month-old child in the car while she was shopping in a supermarket, state police said.
Shannon E. Folts, 27, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child. State police found no parent or guardian around the child. About 30 minutes later, they found Folts shopping in a Tops store and arrested her, police said. The child was placed in the custody of other family members.
