MOUNT ST. MARY OPEN HOUSE: Mount St. Mary Academy, located at 3756 Delaware Ave., Kenmore, has scheduled its annual open house for sixth through eighth grade girls and their parents from 6 to 8 p. m. LEGAL SERVICES FOR DISABLED: The Legal Services and Advocacy Department at the Mental Health Association will sponsor a program on the financial, social and legal issues facing those who care for an individual with a disability at 7 p. m. today at the Mental Health Association, 999 Delaware Ave. Topics include supplemental needs trusts, special needs program and pooled trusts and advocacy issues. LACKAWANNA SCHOOL BOARD MEETING: The Lackawanna School Board will hold a special meeting at 6:30 p. m. Wednesday in the superintendent’s conference room, 245 South Shore Blvd. It will be followed by a work session.

CEMETERY ASSOCIATION DINNER: The Batavia Cemetery Association will host a spaghetti dinner and Chinese auction at 5 p. m. Wednesday at Bohn’s Restaurant on Clinton Street. Dinner includes spaghetti, meatballs, rolls, salad, dessert, and coffee. Tickets are $10 adults, children under 10 are $5.

WALK FOR HEALTH: The Buffalo Niagara Mentorship Program and Alliance for a Healthier Generation presents the 2008 Christian Youth Walk-A-Thon for Health at 11 a. m. Oct. 13 at Delaware Park. Youth from surrounding churches in Western New York will be participating. Registration is due by Wednesday and can by made by calling 866-4627.
