Repairs will cause detours around County Center lot
LITTLE VALLEY — Improvements to the Cattaraugus County Center parking lot entrances and sidewalks around the building will begin Tuesday, and Public Works officials warn that lots and the building will remain open with altered access.
Some entrances or exits will be blocked at times over the next several weeks and traffic access will be detoured through the main County Center lot behind the County Center.
Work will begin on the parking lot exit driveway across from the County Center; that exit will be closed for about two weeks. At the same time, the south driveway to the Sheriff’s Office lot will close for about two weeks, followed by a four-day closure of the north entrance to sheriff’s parking lot beginning Sept. 25.
Work on the main County Center entrance sidewalk will begin following completion of driveway repairs, with the entrance blocked for about 10 days.
