Medina teacher accused of official misconduct
MEDINA — A Medina High School teacher who allegedly initiated relationships with two of his students was charged Friday with official misconduct, State Police in Batavia said.
Scott D. Ballard, 33, of Portage Road, is accused of engaging in relationships with the students in both 2004 and 2006. Both students were older than 17, police said, and are no longer attending the school.
Ballard was arraigned and released on his own recognizance pending a Sept. 29 appearance in Medina Village Court.
