State grant will help pool cover manufacturer
MEDINA — The state has awarded $216,000 in block grant funding to Orleans County to help Hinspergers Poly Industries expand its Court Street operations.
The money will go toward machinery, equipment, fixtures and inventory for the firm, which manufactures pool covers. The proposed expansion will create 20 new full-time jobs over three years.
The project also is receiving a $60,000 grant from the Empire State Development Corp. The grants are expected to generate $1.8 million in equity for the project. The Division of Housing and Community Renewal announced the grants Tuesday.
