Woman faces DWI charges after vehicle hits trees

FRENCH CREEK — A 22-year-old faces charges of driving while intoxicated after her vehicle struck several small trees on Route 426 in Chautauqua County on Sunday morning.

Kayleigh R. Messinger, of Corry, Pa., was driving south at about 6:50 a. m. when her vehicle left the roadway.

Messinger, who was not injured, has been charged with two counts of DWI, failure to keep right and driving an unregistered vehicle.

A date in French Creek Town Court has not been set.
