Conference to explore body use improvement
FREDONIA — Techniques that facilitate body use improvement will be explored at a conference organized by the Fredonia State College School of Music at 9 a. m. Saturday in the Julie J. Rosch Recital Hall.
The three techniques — body mapping, Feldenkrais Method and Dalcroze Eurhythmics — are commonly used by those engaged in the performing arts, Hamilton said, but they can also be used in other disciplines.
Advance registration can be made online at www.fredonia.edu/som/bodymap.asp . The fee to attend is $25 for students and $50 for the general public.
