JAMESTOWN — A Jamestown soldier died Tuesday in Baghdad after suffering a noncombat-related injury, the Defense Department announced Thursday.
Pfc. Patrick W. May had been assigned to the Division of Special Troops Battalion with the 10th Mountain Division in Fort Drum.
May’s death was under investigation, defense officials said.
Further details about the cause of death were unavailable late Thursday.
