Yorkshire woman accused of forgery
YORKSHIRE — A Yorkshire woman faces a charge of second-degree forgery because she allegedly tried to cash a forged check Friday afternoon at the Five Star Bank branch on Route 16.
Cattaraugus County sheriff’s deputies arrested Patsy L. Peters, 51, of Route 39, at her home after the attempt. Police did not disclose the value of the check.
