Man driving stolen car arrested at Peace Bridge
A Friendship man who allegedly attempted to cross the Peace Bridge in a stolen car Sunday faces several charges, Buffalo police reported.
Stacy J. Wall, 38, was charged with criminal possession of stolen property and unauthorized use of a vehicle.
Wall was crossing back into the United States at about 9:45 p. m. Sunday when a data check at U. S. Customs revealed the 1999 Ford Contour he was driving was reported stolen earlier Sunday to the Friendship Police Department, according to reports.
Authorities said Wall also allegedly had an outstanding arrest warrant from Allegany County on an undisclosed charge.
