Victorian Times Celebration scheduled for July 11-13
LILY DALE — This spiritualist community will turn back the clock to 1879, the year it was founded, on the weekend of July 11-13.
A variety of activities is planned to celebrate the days of yore during Lily Dale’s Victorian Times Celebration. Visitors are encouraged to join in the fun by coming dressed in Victorian garb.
There will be contests for the best Victorian costume, best beard, mutton chops or handlebar mustache. Suffragette Elizabeth Cady Stanton, or someone looking like her, will be on hand.
