Troopers make five arrests on fireworks charges

NORTH HARMONY — State Police based in Jamestown said they made five fireworks arrests here Monday after stopping two motorists on Interstate 86.
Troopers stopped a van they said was speeding and seized fireworks valued at $772, which they said were sitting in plain sight.
Charged with unlawfully dealing with fireworks were the driver, Steven
W. Campagna, 35, of Lyndon Road, Franklinville, and his two passengers, John T. Campagna, 32, of Painesville, Ohio, and Raymond J. Winarske, 32, of Niagara Falls.
A short time later, troopers stopped a car they said had fireworks in the back seat and truck. Charged with unlawfully dealing with fireworks and dangerous fireworks were Bobby D. Orr and Christopher P. Brown. Their ages and addresses were not released.
All five men were given appearance tickets.
