STRAWBERRY SOCIAL: The United Methodist Women’s Group of Trinity United Methodist Church, located at 75 Main St., Attica, will host a strawberry social from 4 to 7 p. m. today. The menu will include hot dogs, hamburgers, potato salad, strawberry shortcake and strawberry sundaes.

PENN DIXIE FUNDRAISER: The fourth annual Big Toys, Trucks and Bikes event, a fundraiser for the Penn Dixie Paleontological and Outdoor Education Center, will take place from 11 a. m. to 4 p. m. Sunday at the Penn Dixie Site on Bristol Road, Hamburg. Also available are telescopes for viewing sun spots, fossil digging, toy and gas card raffles, and food vendors. RUSSERT TRIBUTE: Buffalo Homecoming event organizers will pay tribute to Tim Russert in a brief ceremony at noon Sunday during the Buffalo Homecoming Sunday brunch at the Buffalo Zoo. Rep. Brian Higgins, D-Buffalo, will participate. Maryalice Demler of WGRZ/Channel 2 will serve as emcee and hostess, and Dennis George will entertain with a Buffalo trivia quiz. The brunch will take place from 10 a. m. to 2 p. m. Tickets are $12 for adults, $8 for children under 12, and a family pack is $30. Tickets can be purchased at all Wegmans locations. MOTORCYCLE RUN: The South Side Kustoms will host a motorcycle run, “Rev Up With the Red Cross,” beginning with registration at 11 a. m. Sunday at the American Red Cross Greater Buffalo Chapter headquarters, 786 Delaware Ave. The ride will begin at 1 p. m., followed by a party at 3. Proceeds will benefit the Red Cross.
