Exchange program seeks team for Central America
The Rotary district that serves Western New York and Southern Ontario is putting together a team of young adults to exchange with a Rotary district in Central America that covers Belize and Guatemala.
Rotary District 7090 Gov. Pravin Suchak of Amherst said: “We seek young, open-minded, flexible individuals who are enthusiastic about their chosen vocation . . . who can take one month to learn about their profession in a different culture.”
Team members must be age 25 to 40, live within District 7090, have been fully employed for two years and be able to travel with the team from Feb. 15 to March 16.
Almost all of the costs of transportation, lodging and meals for the team are provided by the Rotary International Foundation.
Deadline for applications is Oct. 16. For information and application forms, visit the District 7090 Web site at www.rotary7090.org .
