CYSTIC FIBROSIS: The Western

New York Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation will take part in Great Strides, the largest CF fundraiser in the country. Charity walks are scheduled for 11 a. m. Saturday at the Nichols School, 1250 Amherst St., Yates Park in Orchard Park, Veterans Park in the City of Tonawanda and Widewaters Park in Lockport. Sundayy at 11 a. m. in Island Park and noon at Lakewood Rod&Gun Club, 433 E. Terrace Ave., Lakewood. For details, call 686-9400.

PATRIOTIC CONCERT: “Home of the Brave,” presented by the Holland Community Choir&Holland Community Children’s Choir, will be held at 3 p. m. Sunday in Holland Central High School, 103 Canada St. The concert, which includes a special tribute to the armed forces, will be followed by a pie and ice cream social.
