Casal elected president of city’s school board

Lynn Casal, a first-term board member, was elected president of the Tonawanda City School Board Thursday night following an annual reorganization meeting.

The new board president is entering the final year of her first three-year term. She served as the board’s vice president last year.

James Weber, a former board president who recently won re-election, was elected vice president. Both will serve one-year terms.
