Roswell Park expands its Amherst Center

Story tools:

Roswell Park Cancer Institute has expanded its Amherst Center to accommodate an increasing number of patients seeking chemotherapy, infusion services and other services at the Amherst site, officials said Friday.

The center, at 100 College Park, has grown by 2,800 square feet for a total of 8,200 square feet, adding four additional exam rooms, a consultation room, two physician offices and increased nursing and clinical support. The center also has a phlebotomy lab and a chemotherapy preparation pharmacy on site.

The center already provides some surgical and medical oncology services, including treatment of lung cancer and other solid tumors, a high risk prostate cancer clinic and gynecological services.
