AMHERST MUSEUM

Mitten Tree to aid pupils at Buffalo School 45

Story tools:

The Amherst Museum is collecting new hats, gloves, scarves and mittens to decorate its Mitten Tree. Donors will receive complimentary admission to the museum. The “decorations” will be donated to pupils at Buffalo School 45.

This year, the museum is also collecting books for the school’s library. Books suitable for children in grades kindergarten through grade eight, as well as cash contributions, can be left at the Mitten Tree.

Museum staff will deliver all contributions to School 45 after Dec. 31. The Amherst Museum is located at 3755 Tonawanda Creek Road, at New Road.
