Newstead woman faces felony DWI charge
Erie County sheriff’s deputies charged a Newstead woman with felony driving while intoxicated after they said her vehicle went into a ditch off Dye Road in the Town of Newstead on Friday, shortly after midnight.
Karen A. Jozwiak, 55, of McNeeley Road, failed several sobriety tests, sheriff’s officials said. She faces a felony drunken-driving charge because of a previous DWI conviction in 2004, police said.
