Gunman takes bike, cell phone on Hertel
A man armed with a handgun took a mountain bike and cell phone Friday night from a Town of Tonawanda woman, police said.
The victim told police that a car containing four men cut her off at about 9:30 p. m. on Hertel Avenue near Pacific Street.
She said one of the men got out of the car, pointed a gun and pushed her to the pavement. He grabbed her bicycle, valued at $100, and cell phone, estimated to be worth $225, and got back into the car, which sped west on Hertel.
