Man charged with DWI shadowed patrol car
A Clarence man was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving and unlicensed operation of a vehicle after he was stopped by Erie County sheriff’s deputies Sunday morning.
WasylFederczyk, 34, was pulled over after deputies said he was following their patrol car too closely. The incident occurred at about 3:20 a. m. at Main Street and Alexander Drive in Clarence.
Federczyk failed several sobriety tests and a breath test, deputies said. The Sheriff’s Office said this was Federczyk’s second DWI offense in the past decade and that his driver’s license was currently suspended for a prior offense.
