Clarence father, son arrested on drug charges
State police investigators arrested a Clarence father and son Wednesday on drug charges after executing a search warrant at their home on Meadowbrook Drive.
Robert James Manfreda, 51, was charged with possession of a hypodermic instrument, criminal possession of steroids, unlawful growing of cannabis and unlawful possession of marijuana.
His son, Robert John Manfreda, 23, was charged with third-degree criminal mischief, second-degree criminal possession of a marijuana (about 3 pounds of the drug), criminal possession of a controlled substance (hydrocodone), possession of a hypodermic instrument and unlawful possession of marijuana.
The father was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Town of Clarence Court at 5 p. m. Tuesday. The son was arraigned in the same court and sent to Erie County Holding Center in lieu of $25,000 bail.
